So I had the Bilsteins installed today along with an alignment on my 15 Outdoorsman . I went with the 2.8 setting for the reason that people were saying that the Outdoorsman replaced the TRX and at the 2.8 setting I would actually only get 2.1 " of lift due to the fact of the TRX and Outdoorsman being .7" different while others said that was not true.

The results..
Measurements were:
Before
front left 36.5 "/ front right 37"
Rears 40"
After Bilstein installed at 2.8
front left 38 & 5/8" / front right 39 & 1/8"

So according to my measurements that is exactly 2.1 " of lift even though I set them at 2.8 so the rumors of the Outdoorsman somehow being .7" different stands true for me.
VERY happy with the look but disappointed that I am one of the ones that ended up getting the vibrations on acceleration while in 4wd.

What are the vibrations from in 4x4? Is there a fix for it? I have blisters on order for my 2015 Outdoorsman as well. Now I am nervous to install them.

Truck has settled almost a 1/2" after a couple days and the vibration in 4wd is just about gone. I believe it is caused by the angle of the cv axles changing due to the lift.

Where are you guys getting your bilsteins at?!

Got mine from Genos Garage. I emailed just about everyone online and they were the only ones that had a couple left at the time and that was a couple weeks ago.

My Laramie was the same 37" on the right front from the factory, and 39 1/4" with the Bills at 2.8. Sounds like your results are very typical and no different than the non-Outdoorsman.

Getting a true 2.8", given the stock front that's typically 36.5-37", would put you close to 40" in the front. Never heard of anyone ending up that tall with just Bills.

Either way your truck looks great! Although it's screaming for more aggressive tires now :waytogo:

I couldn't agree more Those tires are killing me, I can't believe they even put those on at the factory. Just saving up some cash and trying to figure out wether I want to stick with black wheels or go chrome/silver.

I just bought Bilsteins and was going to ask at what setting to put them. I have a 2012 outdoorsman and have been running a 2.5 spacer for 3 years now. Wanted to get rid of it. Now I hope I don't lose what I have now. We'll find out I guess. Here's how she looks now.

My outdoorsman with bilsteins at 2.8". I previously had 2" spacers before installing the bilsteins. Never did measure the height, but my wheels and tires fit just fine.

I've had my bilsteins installed for 3000 miles @ 2.8 " imo the ride is better than the day I pulled off the lot !

I have bilstein set at 2.1 on my 2015 and sits stock height. I didn't know at the time that it was already taller in the front or would have did 2.8
