So I decided to order a set of bilstein 5100 adjustables for the front and bilstein 5100s for the rear.

...simple question, I guess...what should I set the fronts at? From what I have gathered, I am thinking 2.1...last i measured, my truck is a little over 2 inches shorter in the front than the rear (37'' in the front and just over 39'' for the rear), so would this be correct to set to 2.1?...or will it settle and sit lower, making setting at 2.8 a better idea...I do not have plans of lifting the rear yet, but might consider a tgc 1 inch coil spacer in the future. Thanks, guys! getting these installed next Wednesday and can't wait!

I wouldnt mind going 2.8 in the front with the tgc 1 inch lift in the rear...but i notice i have read a lot less issue with vibration from folks that set the bilsteins at 2.1 vs 2.8

I believe you will be good if you set your fronts at 2.1. Yes your truck will settle a little but i don't think it would be enough to make that much of a difference, but i could be wrong. If you put the fronts at 2.8 you will sit nose high but the rear 5100 can be adjusted up 1 inch so you could counter it that way.

I set mine at 2.8. It's all just a personal choice. At 2.8, my Outdoorsman is still about 3/8" lower than the rear.

I have min set at 2.8, after they settled the front sits about half an inch lower in the front. Also, have had zero issues with vibration or binding.

Maxed mine with a 1" rear spacer and still have 1/2" of rake. 1" rear spacer from tgc is only $45 and super easy to install

I have 5100's on the way too. I ordered a 1.75" rear coil spacer. I wanted to maintain a little rake for hauling. I also have a 3" BL going on closer to spring when I order my rims and tires. Let us know what you do and post some before/after pics. :)

I am going with the 2.1 setting with no spacer in the rear for now. The bilsteins should be in tomorrow. Will get some pics up as I can.

the rears aren't adjustable, they're recommended to work with up to 1inch lift

I have heard 1.4" will make it even. I personally set mine at 2.1" because i have a 1" rear spacer along with my 6" rcx
