In my attempt to remove another piece of chrome of my truck, I ordered some black lugs from Discount Tire. Problem is, I can't decide if I really like it or not. It might grow on me, not sure yet. Is this going too far?

Need some opinions... What do you think? Be honest, I can handle the truth.

EDIT: See my chops on page 3.

I think the chrome looks better with the center caps.

Hmm... yeah Jeremy I do agree on the center caps. I was thinking I could just black out the entire rim to take care of that, but I think that may be going too far. I just don't know. I'm going to leave it like it is and get some more opinions at work. Somebody might have an alternate idea that hasn't been considered.

Damn dude, I'm torn. On one hand I like how different they are, but on the other, if you do those you need to black out the rest of rim...which, I think, will take away from the look more than add to it.

Just kicking around ideas here... what about painting the center caps then leaving the lugs chrome? I'm not sure how the entire rim would looked blacked out. Then it would end up looking like one solid tire. Might have to play around with photoshop on this one a bit.

X2. I haven't seen a good looking solid black wheel. All the ones I've seen remind me of spare rims...

Not sure about the black with the chrome center, but I think a black center with chrome lug nuts would look good even though I'm partial to black.
