Blower motor - intermittent ground

2020 Lariat, A/C is working fine but the blower motor quits working. When the problem is present I have battery voltage to the blower motor but not ground. To temporarily bypass the problem I have cut the ground wire and added a toggle switch that is grounded to the body. Any help would be appreciated.

If you splice in a new ground and it works I would then assume that you have a broken wire and or lose / corrosion ground
