So I asked a question on here about Big Horn vs the Laramie and which one i should get because of the incentives. I think i have decided on the Laramie. But now my question is: What kind of price can i expect? I am seeing stickers in the range of $49k-$51k. One dealer told me $42k for the one i wanted but i am not going for that. I need it to be under $40k

What are you guys seeing? Is there a dealership in Louisiana that you guys recommend? Maybe a certain time a year i should wait?

Thanks in advance

Find a used one with low miles (like under 5000) and play hard ball with them. Shop around and compare. I bought a 2012 with 30k miles for 25 thousand about 7 months ago.

Depending on how the truck is built 42K isn't bad. Here in Ontario a dealer quoted me 40k before tax on a laramie. The only things it was missing were:sunroof, spray in bed liner, cd player, larger gas tank, and LSD.

Where in Louisiana are you buddy.
In Baton Rouge you have Ralph Sellers and Salsbury's.
Me and a bunch of friends have dealt with Ralph Sellers. Like most dealerships there not perfect but do have good service. Only been to Salsbury's to look but they usually have better deals than Ralphs sometimes.

I didnt even know you could get the Laramie with the V6
New RAM 1500 Laramie - in 70769 Area - on Cars.com

With that said HEMI Laramie's are not cheap and surprised you could get one for 42K. I would jump on that.

10k seems to be the average of $$$ off of the window sticker on a decent deal. Not a advertised or rebate thing. I knocked 10k off my last three rams, 09, 11, 13, just good dickering skills.

Good luck

If you go to TrueCar you can get an idea of what folks are paying in your area - don't have to use their service to get an idea.

I just bought mine last weekend. Laramie CC 4x4 V8's are going for around $42k in my area (Colorado) and that was the price I was looking for going in. Could probably get to $40k with V6. Likely depends on options.

Of course, I wound up splurging on the Limited...got $8-9k off the sticker and a good deal on my trade-in.
