I've got a few weeks ago a set of IONIC Gladiator Black running board from Autocustoms. The board are great, but the bracket are garbage.

The bracket were pack loosely in a box and hit each others, 30 min of doing touch up on the exposed metal and they were ready to go on the truck. No now the customs bolts that goes into the rocker are bare steel so I gave them a few layers of anti-rust paint and finished the install the next morning.

The other day I was looking at my routing options for some wires and noticed that lots of paint was flaking off the brackets and that they were already rusted badly... Called Autocustoms and they shipped me a new set of brackets, got them same thing all scuffed and missing paint in some places. Called them again, they shipped me a 3rd set of brackets packaged "properly" this time. Got them today and same story, yes now they are protected in wrapping, but they were damaged before they shipped it to me.

I sent a message to Ionic, but still no answer and I probably will not get one. Ionic seems to be own by the same company that run Autocustoms their other affiliated website.

From this thread the iBoard seems to suffer the same problem.

I guess Ill have them sandblasted and will refinish them...

Yep, it sure does fella. And mine havent even been in the rain yet. Just the humidity of the garage.

Ive just learned to accept **** poor workmanship as of late.:)
