It seems like I have to change my brake pads every year if not twice a year...I have already had to replace my rotors once. Any idea's about what could be causing it and how I could fix it.

If your brakes are wearing that fast, there is either a mechanical issue or your ridding your brakes.
Don't apply the brakes for more than about 100' when coming to a stop.
If your having a shop telling you need brakes, I'm guessing they are ripping you off.

How many miles do you get out of them? How many miles on your truck? Do ou find the insides are worn all the way down or the outsides?

I've put 30,000 miles on my pads and they were not new when I bought the truck. Something is definitely up with your rig or your shop is ripping you off. Brake pads should last 30-50,000 miles depending on your driving habits.
