Brakes?

I know to change them when they need it, but around what mileage are people replacing them?

It is extremely dependent on how you use your truck. If you are towing up and down steep grades all day then you may need them at 50K. If you do a lot of highway travel unloaded, you may go 100K before you need them.

I do a lot of highway travel with about 3K worth of towing a race car per year. 55K on the clock now and brake pads still have a ton of meat left on them.

Yeah, depends on your driving habits. I replaced mine at 50k and there was about half the pad left. I'm the 2nd owner too not sure if they were ever replaced but I doubt it.

On my 2010, I replaced my set around 80K miles.... they were getting thin at that point.
