I"ve got a 2018 Laramie crew cab. Truck is bright white. Was looking for some new wheels for it...perhaps 20x9 with a 0 offset. Drive too much gravel and country road to go anything outside the factory flares so -negative offset will be too aggressive. 0 offset with a factory 275/60/r20 will be pretty much flush.

Problem is, Im not a big fan of black wheels on a white truck unless there is some contrast with a reasonable amount of milling/machined surface to offset the black. Chrome is not an option as the chrome nowaday is pure ****. Polished wheels are very expensive and labour intensive to keep attractive.

Will also need some tires soon as my tires are just about done. Was wanting to go a size to 2 bigger like a 285/65/r20, or a 285/60/20 or 295/60/20 but as soon as you go to anything in that size range....you are looking at an LT heavy ply tire. Alot of guys I talked to were sorry afterwards because they said it turned their truck ride into a stagecoach....rough as hell even with lowered air pressure.

Another downside they mentioned was a decrease in fuel mileage larger, heavier tire combo.

I have not made any decisions as yet, but if anyone could send me some pics of their white trucks with aftermarket wheels/tires it would be much appreciated.

Thoughts? Opinions??

I don't like all black wheels either.

Sorry not on a white truck but might be what you're looking for. Fuel matte black machined with black tint.

Stick with the stock wheels, that chrome clad is tougher than anything out there. As far as tires go you can't go wrong with a set of Michelin LTX M&S. They are considerable tougher than the factory tires, have more plys and won't destroy your ride and your gas mileage.
