Broken Camper Shell Window

I'm buying a Raider Nomad 2 for $150. The rear window is broken (Hence why it's so cheap), and I was wondering if anyone has replaced a broken rear window on one, and how much it cost?

I would try to cut out a piece of lexan/polycarbonate to replace it ad it woul be less probe to breaking later
I can't remember the number but I think it's kind of pricey to replace

I'm on my way to pick it up, and I don't want it to scratch the crap out of my bed rails. Do I have to buy the foam that goes between it and my truck? If so, do I get the thick 1" foam, or do I go with thinner stuff?
