Got a hell of a deal on a truck-bed drawer system. $100 for this thing.

Trailer is almost done. We leave this weekend to social distance ourselves in the desert.

I finally got the trailer finished up and we took it out to do some off-road testing to see how it goes over obstacles.

I have some more modifications coming, suspension, steering, and rocker guards. I'll be fabricating some rocker-guards for it, since I have not found much I like out for sale.

Last weekend we went south to Social Distance our self properly in southern Utah. We spent two days, this is first day and part of the second finishing the Eagle Canyon Trail in the San Rafael Swell. Next week we will show you the second part of the trip to the Copper Globe Mine.

Continuing work on our Overland / Bug Out Trailer build. I decided to move and change a few things after the last trip. Check out what I change and update. I think it's almost finished.

During the last two weeks we have been back and forth between Wyoming and Utah. So its been a bit crazy. A couple weeks ago, I was four wheeling in Wyoming through some washouts. I kind of kit the intercooler and bent the bottom portion a little. I decided it was time to make a skid plate for it. I didn't even look for a mass produced one, because I had some time to kill, since I didn't have any thing else to do.

I did video the fabrication and install. Seems to be working good so far.

Nice built , Love the fab/welding skills. i can cut like a Ninja but i've never learned how to weld :(
The Rover in back caught my attention, 110 or D110 ? or newer ?

I'm going to keep posting stuff but a lot of this is older, sorry. Things I've been working on for the last year.

Question, I do a lot of off-road driving, I have a leveling kit up front. What do you guys recommend for shocks. My stock ones are starting to get worn out. I have about 34K miles on it right now. I'd like a better ride, a little more control. And for the swaying when I'm on the throttle getting on the interstate.
Check with Thuren or Carli if you don't want to thinker too much with what to run, they're big with the RAM HD suspension market

For example:

https://www.thurenfabrication.com/p...uspension-systems/overland-shock-systems.html

Have fun.

Finally did something to the truck again. I couldn't take the shocks anymore. With ~ 38K miles on them, they were already blown out. The rear shocks were leaking oil already.

I decided to spend some money and get the Fox Racing 2.0 Shocks for my truck.

I installed them, and here is a video of the process.

I'm still having a rear sway issue with the truck on hard acceleration onto the interstate. Even with the new shocks, the rear suspension doesn't feel planted, or secure. If that makes sense. I am tuned and making north of 400 hp, probably closer to 500 hp.

I'm looking at track bar fixes or maybe I convert it to a radius arm conversion on the rear. I don't know if the current 4/5 link is actually working like it should.

I finally found the solution for the swaying and wagging rear end of my 2500 Megacab. I upgraded the stock track bar to a Thuren, man what a difference!

Did some rock crawling in my 2500 Megacab. I may have incurred some damage. (Sad Face)

I may have slipped off a rock and dented it. Oops......
