Does anyone out there have the 2013 outdoorsman 1500 or anyone with tow hooks really.... know whether or not I could put a bull bar on and still have access to the hooks?

Great question. I have a 2012 outdoorsman and have been wondering the same thing. Those tow hooks need to stay.

Why a bull bar? They aren't really good for anything lol, but you could do a bumper instead.

Also, I doubt it (but don't actually know) since the bull bars usually have mounts that go about where the tow hooks are (although that is prolly why you are asking huh?).

Wish that response had been more helpful...

I had a 2012 Outdoorsman before I got this truck and I had a bull bar on it and could still access my tow hooks. Ill see if I can get a pic up here later today, or check out the first pic of my build thread!

Any info for a 2013 yet? I looked under an 11 or 12 ram and nothing looks the same for mounting points and stuff as the 13 is different. Would like to see if anyone finds a manufacturer who actually says its made for a 13 with proof.

Westin Bull Bars don't use the tow-hooks. They use the frame mount under the bumper. Go to their website and just look up the install info.

Do you mean for 2013? Because mine is a Westin and it's bolts under the existing tow hooks.

Guess they changed it for sport/express models.. Westin and Deezee used under bumper mounts for my truck. But even if it's under the hooks, can't you still keep the hooks?

Yes, that's what I'm saying. Didn't have to lose the hooks because of the bull bar. On a 2012 Big Horn anyway.
