For a better answer, the Bullydog will do all the same basic things any other tuner will do and they have fairly good canned tunes loaded onto them but the reason it's not a popular programmer is because it can't do any custom tuning which is where any of the Diablosport programmers will beat it. The Trinity or Intune/I2 allows you to do the same canned tunes but you can also get custom tunes from tuners like Hemifever or Jay Greene that will beat the pants off the canned tunes and can be tailored to the mods you have.

Got a bdx a few weeks ago and have a custom tune from Hemifever. Works great, really unleashed the power of my truck.

Bully dog can do custom tuning. I have one with Hemifever custom tuning and I'll tell you it's a difference from stock. I would still recommend the diablosport trinity

So they finally released their custom tuning package, that's good to know. They had been saying they'd release it for a good 2 years with nothing ever showing up. Good to know there's another custom tuning option. I got fed up with DS which is why I'm now running HPT. You're the first I've heard using the BD custom tuning, how is their interface? Multiple tunes can be loaded?

Yeah I think you can run up to 10 maybe. I could be wrong. But I think I have 4 right now. It's pretty easy to use. I had trouble because mine wasn't unlocked for custom tuning from the factory so I had trouble getting them on there to begin with. After that it was smooth sailing they said all the new ones being made now are already unlocked so that problem shouldn't happen for anyone else. And what problems did you have with DS?

I emailed HF about the BDX. It was a little cheaper than the intune. He told me he could do a little more with the intune over the BDX. Not sure what. The BDX looks really nice.

2015+ PCMs are locked from the factory. You will either need to get an unlocked PCM or have yours unlocked before you can tune your truck.
