I was looking into getting the 1.25" RC body lift and my question is whether or not an aftermarket bumper like a ranchhand would line up with the new bumper brackets provided in the kit? Really like the ranch hand idea but I want that little extra lift too.. I have the 2.5" HBS spacer but I could use an extra inch of clearance this body lift would provide.

there are bumper brackets to relocate a stock bumper... i beleive an aftermarket bumper would need to be modified to fit.

I am in a similar predicament. I have the 3" BL and want to run the Kore front end but don't know if I trust fabing it up there myself.

One reason I dislike body lifts.

I started in the heavy duty world (2500-3500) and NOBODY runs body lifts.
When I came here I was super surprised to see how many people run and recommend body lifts.

best thing to do if your going to run the BL is to have a fab shop mod the bumper to bolt up to the factory location. Shouldent take too much work to do.

its not hard, only cutting on the 1.25 rcx lift is you gotta cut a inch wider on the under lip of the of the rear bumper for clearance as u lift it up. i used tape along the edges i wanted to cut. and a grinder with cutting disk. if your nervouse about makeing a clean cut with the grinder use a reciprocating saw with metal cutting blade. its a truck, were men. we fear nothing but our wemon. lol noone will be able to see the cut you make in the bumper anyway. i painted the bare steel from the cut with touch up paint to try and keep the elements off the bare metal.
