Scratch that it’ll be just the front fox with reservoir and the track bar the back ones are too much of a ******* to get off and I don’t have time.

I've heard that frequent oil changes are a good thing on them. I'm sure it has something to do with that. Every motor has it's quirks. Hemi tick for Hemi's etc. I'll probably change my oil every 5k or less on this one. Appreciate the heads up.
Lol, I have a 2016 F150 5.0 fleet vehicle.

-Check oil- never.
-Change oil every 8k with the cheapest oil the quick lube puts in it.
-150k and all they have done is brakes, tires and oil change.

It goes through hell in the rust belt and no corrosion issues. It sees off road conditions as much as pavement.

They don’t like to be lifted, watch the torque converter as they have issues. Transmission makes a weird groan noise every time it down shifts.

As far as the Power Wagons, bought mine in 2020 before the prices went crazy. No way I would buy one now, they are stupid $$$.

Well here’s the f150. The dash is warped like a lot of them which sucks but it’s solid. The flowmaster exhaust has to go. It’s obnoxious. I’ll get my thuren goodies posted later today

Didn't think I made a big deal about it at all. Just asked for opinions and thoughts which is what forums are for. Asking questions and getting answers from others that might have more experience. Just felt the need to get into something that made more financial sense for the moment. Is the F150 a power wagon? No not even close but it works for what I need. If the aluminum body can hold up better to the rust for a while then I'm all for it. As seen in the past I change my mind a lot. I'm glad you are more decisive.

The wheels were terrible. I'd agree with that. It's why they are gone now. To each their own. Peace out.

Well I might be back in one. Momentary lapse in judgement. Haven't owned a 1/2 ton for a while. I feel like I change trucks like I change underwear. Trying to get back into an 18 with full leather.

I had a FERD for 18mo, with all of the 10 speed joint venture W/GM what a POS, having it flashed several times to a new valve body, never again!!!

Well everything just went to hell on the F-150. Just started oil consumption at 1/2 quart every fill up. All the 10 speeds in the fleet are needing rebuilt at 120k. 6 speed is holding up well.

Lost out on the 18. It was a sweet setup too. 37's and carli commuter system. Wife was a bit angry so I balked and missed it. I did find a 17 with lower miles with leather and luxury as well. Ordered with no decals which sucks so I'm trying to track those down. Has a compressor setup on it with air bags which is nice too. Will need the Thuren treatment at some point. Rambox just like my 18. In a way the 17 is better though because you don't have to worry about the bypass harness with Alpha OBD.

Have you looked at the 2500 rebel as well. Looks like there are many on dealers lots these days and maybe some deals to be had
