And done......wasn't too bad thanks to all the info here. Only dropped the A pillar and no creases. Took me about 3.5 hours in all.

The sunroof def helps. I just ran a fuse tap to the box and didn't have to splice anything factory. Very happy.6e2b5cc6fff698ef18d019cc90764aed.jpg0131eb93afab6f4fe495cfb0e8219b97.jpg67cab780b11fc74cead87dc05e13c325.jpg

Where did you get the RED front hooks? Or did you just paint the black ones?

Somehow missed this....I painted them. Then got tired of it and went back to black. The headlights are black now too. lol

Can anyone tell me where I can get a template for measuring out for cab lights other than fleabay or Amazon?

Dammit now I kinda want to do this. Just don't know if it'll look silly on my regular cab, even though it's lifted a bit...and once those holes are drilled there's no turning back

I always had the orange cab lights on my 2500's. Now that I have the "Gentleman Farmer" truck I miss them. Having a hard time not modding the crap out of this rig to make it look less "formal"...:****: my ride

Thank you. I wished they would be an option from the factory like they are on the 2500's. Kind of a "scary" project but I have done it before on other trucks so I had an idea of what I was getting into.

Yeah I bet. Once the first hole is drilled the nerves will hopefully calm.
Did you go with the oem kit and bulbs? I'm going with oem, just wondering if the ambers will match my headlights...or if I should get amber led bulbs

I wired mine directly to the fuse box F79 which is the cab light fuse. Mine come on with lights and also with remote start. I have LED and they work fine.

I'm assuming there is also a black wire that needed to be grounded??? If so, where did you attach that wire???

The black ground wire on the harness has a ring crimped on it and gets grounded to the cab. It’s a short wire so I just attached it to the cab structure behind that center upper console while it was out, I used a self tapping screw.

Thanks! I have the fuse taps and hole saw, and I was going to ask you what you used for leds. Perfect! Did you use the same type of bulbs for both?
