Oh my bad lol. She roasted. Just pull the wire off the coil and the wire off injector That way it can't fire to miss lolSo cylinder 8 is already dead no compression. Lobe on the cam is wore down is my guess. Just want to be able to turn it on long enough to drive on the trailer.

It's expensive. I regret not doing a 6.2/6.4 swap on mine when my lifters went. I replaced cam, lifters and gaskets and a bunch of other stuff while I was in there. I should have swapped it. [emoji19]

I don't even think you need new harness to Be honest. I'm Sure it's a straight swap. Im a bit of a hp junkie so any little bit of power is a bonus.

Ah that makes sense! I didn't look into that [emoji23] likely why it was picked up cheap. I'm Gonna definately follow this now.By the looks of his avatar he's swapping it into a 4.7 truck Brandon.I know there's been a few guys swap a 5.7 in for the 4.7,but i have yet to hear of anybody having much luck with the swap afterwards, and they usually end up selling the truck. On paper it should be a do able swap as the 4.7 will bolt in,and the pcms are supposedly the same, but nobody ever keeps the truck after doing the swap, lol
