How does the progressive and competitor compare to a straight pipe on cold start?

I've tried straight pipe and cold start are way too loud, specially when it's minus something the truck will take a good amount of time before it idle down. The Magnaflow 18" is ok for cold start, but then is too quiet for my taste when it idle.

The Progressive is great, I mean its loud but not crazy loud.
It sounds way better than any straight piped truck no raspy popping cracking sound.

I just installed my Carven Progressive on Saturday. It's already better than it was the first time I took it out (wife still dislikes it). I'm hoping that it calms a little more as it has started to grow on me, but maybe still a little loud for my liking. Great sound, maybe a little too loud.

installed tonight... wife said omfg thats obnoxious lmao.

that was a cold start.

after driving at first ill admit i felt it was loud but after a couple hrs i went back out and started it sounds good.

i will say at first its like WOW smack you in the face.

i think ill get used to it it really isnt real loud just a bit mkre than expected is all.

does sound great though
