I finally got my BT Catch Can and installed it today. Took me a little longer just because I wanted to make sure to to rip the rubber PCV sleeves and had to trim the lines that came with it to make for a cleaner less cramped fit. Other than that, piece of cake! Next is the throttle body and Custom HF Tune. Can't wait!!

I've got to put mine on. Had it a couple of weeks now. It's still in the box riding behind the passenger seat every day. I'm a lazy ****.

it'd have to fill up the hoses. You'd have to ignore it for 8-10k for this to happen.

Catch cans are great and really keep the junk out of the engine, but they are a maintenance item. That is one reason the manufacturers do not put them on new cars, the owners would have to remember to empty them and many would not. Problem - the stuff coming out of the PCV is in vapor form, so not hard for the engine to burn it off, but what would be coming out of a full catch can is solid gunk, not good.

Well it's been 16 days and 335 miles since I installed my catch can. Today I decided to clean it out and this is what I found. Just over 2 oz. of milky, nasty, stinking sludge. This is quite a bit more than I though it was gonna catch. Is this normal? The temps here have been cold (coldest was -13) with lots of snow since I installed it. Yep, that's normal. In the summer when it's warm outside, the stuff I see in mine looks more like used oil, but now that it's been cold, it looks more like what you have in your pictures. There is more water condensation in cold weather, that's why it looks like that.

Nasty stuff coming out of that can. That is normal for the gunk to look like that in cooler months, but just be glad that it is no longer dumping into your intake manifold.
