So please tell me, on a stock RAM 1500 5.7 what will a catch ca really do? I am an old street racer and we never used them on our cars back in the 70's but I did notice how much oil would escape from the oil air filters we had on the valve covers.

It WILL keep oil from getting back to your throttle body and being burned and adding crap to the back of your throttle body. The better the catch can, the more oil it will stop from getting back. I went cheap on mine but I’m still happy with how much oil it’s stopping from getting back in the top of the engine. Definitely worth it.

Moroso makes as good or better can as billet tech does.None of this unscrew and screw back on crap, they use a valve for draining, lol
I have a Moroso on my other car. Both get the job done. But when you unscrew it, it’s nice to wipe out the inside.

I run the Billet catch can as well, high quality product, I like to wipe out the can and investigate after dumping.

The Moroso also unscrews for internal cleaning if you're so inclined.I take my Moroso can's apart every fall and wash them out with gas. Be forewarned the BT can is getting some ****** reviews by the high end catch can makers, but it'll still catch enough crankcase crap to keep the majority of unboosted vehicles happy. For a naturally aspirated motor with full bolt-ons the BT can will suffice.
Another little tidbit I just learned from the high end can makers is the can should be mounted as far away from engine heat as possible, they are more efficient at separating the oil from the air the cooler they run.The idea makes sense, but I don't think i'm going to move my Moroso cans from the rad support down to the frame rail, lol

Let us know if you would like a quote on a UPR catch can. They make the best ones on the market! I have them on 2 of my personal vehicles and have used them on many other vehicles in the past. I am very happy with how they work!

I have a Team RXP can. Drain at the bottom and can be mounted away from the engine for easy access.

Really!? can you link me to that? I haven't heard of this. I do know they make parts for BT cans to make them better functioning.

It was on a facebook page I stumbled across a week ago Nick, doubt I can find it again, but it was quite an informative conversation. They sure didn't give the Billet Tech can much credit that's for sure. I should of saved it,but it was just about the time facebook decided to change everything to their new format, and now I can't find anything or even the majority of the good facebook pages I used to frequent

Ah ok. Thanks for the follow up. Was just curious. I am sure I will hear about it sooner or later.

UPR is a great group of people and are true enthusiasts. They are almost always at a track on the weekend testing. They make great products and make them with pride. I am sure there is some back story there. They make a diffuser for BT cans so I am sure there is something to that and the back story.

Speaking of Facebook, I am going for a shameless plug here. Look us up on Facebook and instagram and throw us a like/follow!
