Do you already have your equipment picked out? I picked up the remote mount Cobra 75 WX.

I haven’t decided if I’m mounting the small control box under the driver’s seat or behind the dash. But when I’m not using the radio (which will only get used when off-roading or at the beach), the unit comes out and I’ll unscrew the antenna. I got a 3’ firestik that I’ll put on the top of my go rhino sport bar when in use.

Also, to hold the hand held part of the radio, I got a $10 suction cup cell phone mount off of amazon and took the phone holder part off the end. I then took the clip the cb radio comes with and attached it to the mount. Now, whenever I use the radio, I can put this mount in the truck, either on the dash on top of the radio, or on the windshield next to the mirror. This way, I can still hang up the cb, but there is absolutely zero permanent evidence my truck is equipped with a cb when it is not in use.

I have a Cobra 29LX and I was thinking about doing it under the radio since I'm going to use a single din stereo.
