Can ceramic coating be used on polished aluminum?

Yes, but they have to be perfectly polished because once its on you cant polish them until the ceramic wears off in a year or two. The prep work is key with these coatings

It may be worth taking them to a professional detailer have them polish them to perfection and ask them about ceramic coating them. Then all you'll have to do is clean and maintain them but the polished perfection will stay for a year or two. When they start getting harder to clean is when its time to re coat them.

I used a clay bar to remove the baked in brake dust and road grime and spent a lot of time cleaning them then a 3" rotary polisher to buff out the light scratches and the payoff now is worth it. 10 minutes and all 4 wheels look new again even after a winter in the salt belt

If you try to "correct" the imperfections or damage, remember to use the LEAST abrasive product first. Kinda like don't start with 80 grit if 1000 grit would or could do the job.

@Moparfanatic21 if you post a picture of one of your wheels in the detailing section on this forum I am sure there are a lot of knowledgeable people will give you great advice. @Pull Ya is one of the detailing genius' that no doubt has a few tricks for you to try.

Try to capture a good shot of a problem area that you cant seem to clean
