Hey for anyone looking to make this upgrade, I found a stock of Unused leather steering wheels, on Ebay
eBay item number: 264235186457 Its brand new still wrapped in film and will be a great improvement over the plastic one, before I get into the job, has anyone done this already and has photos or videos, shots from a workshop manual etc ?
I can find some info on you tube about removing and un-clipping the airbag, and removing the wheel, the only info missing is about the wiring, and how to remove the controls for the trip info, cruise etc from the old wheel and install in the new one. Most stuff on you-tube relates to the 2013 up models.
