My 22 2500 turned 60K so I changed front and rear diff oil.
Dealership was asked to change it at 24000 miles. Here’s my questions for everyone.
Front differential oil was pristine with a fluorescent green tint. And nothing on the magnet. Factory oil ??
Rear diff, dark and graphite on the magnet. Plus, ALL the bolts had loc-tite on them and air lines clamped to a stud with the one use push on pal nut.
Does factory use loc-tite?
Maybe unfounded skepticism of the dealerships work, but I don’t think they changed the oil when asked but dang sure charged me.

36,000 miles after the fact,i think you're well past worrying about it now. Just what do you think you'll accomplish now???

Accomplish? Not a darn thing. But, makes me question their honesty.
After $700 for transmission service, i looked at the pan to make sure it was removed. Last service, both engine and transmission levels failed to touch the stick. I added a quart snd a half to the engine then called to inform them. Of course I had to bring it in so they could verify I wasn’t lying. Claimed the trans was only 1/2 qt low. And was told the recommended amount was used to fill both. So, no I don’t trust them but until the warranty is up, they get to document the service.

If they’re telling you they let you take the truck because they used “the recommended amount” of fluids, without physically checking the levels, I would never go back there. Hate you’ve had to deal with this.

I know back in the day, I worked at a jiffy lube place one summer and they would use a suction pump to suck out the diff oil, and not even crack the cover. Then refill as needed.

yes and the service book says to apply it at reassembly. seems like its red medium stretgth if i recall. water under the bridge but you would see socket marks on the bolt heads as theyre painted black at the factory. dealer probly would of pumped it out of the fill hole instead.
