  1. Place the ignition in the “ON/RUN” position. If you have a push-button ignition, press the “Engine Start/Stop” button twice without holding the brake. ...
  2. Push the accelerator pedal slowly 3 times within a 10 second interval.
  3. Turn the ignition off. ...
  4. When you start the vehicle again, the Oil Life will be reset.

The directions are generally in the owner's manual.

If you have "system info" on your menu go to "Oil Life" and hold right arrow down on steering wheel, that'll reset. Mine is a 2019, may be different on yours depending on year.

It's not based on miles it's determined by a data model influenced by temperature, rpm, length of drive cycle, idle time and other conditions. Could be 3000 miles could be 9999 miles.

There should be an estimated life % indicator in the EVIC display. I always change mine early because oil is cheaper than car payments.

That resets it but how many miles is it set for till next oil change ??
Like Kurek said it's measured in % but mine is usually in the 8k range. I've only done two oil changes on my '19 but my '14 was also in the 8k range. Since this is based on dino oil I don't have a problem going the full time with full synthetic oil. I'm sure there is plenty of life left in the oil when I change it.
