Reset oil life monitor

Saw in a thread somewhere quick reset of oil life monitor. Turn key to run position and pump gas to floor 3 times and voila! Crap! I wished I had known that from the start! I would not have been fighting that thing with steering wheel buttons.

Your touch screen doesn’t have a reset? I’ve got three 8.4 and you just go into settings and poke the oil reset button.

You reset the the OLI with the buttons on the steering wheel pretty much the same way. Doors closed, ignition on then follow the on EVIC prompts.

That’s how my Jeep worked. Easy peasy. My Ram has the touchscreen way. One small convenience on these computer controlled messes.

That's been an industry standard pretty well ever since they incorporated an oil life sensor,and works on most vehicles in North America,and probably the rest of the planet too.
