I am using an old windows 7 laptop with USB bluetooth and it's seems very flakey. Wondering about a low cost tablet. Any suggestions?

I'm using the $50 Amazon Kindle fire 7. Downloaded the play store (you'll have to Google how to, not hard) I strictly use it for alphaobd and have zero issues with it (other than the adds)

Yes. It's basically a regular android tablet but a Amazon "restricted" version. By that in its out of box set up you're only able to use the Amazon app store. But there are a bunch of YouTubes with link's to download the proper files to download Google play store and essentially have a regular android based tablet.

You'll be just fine with that.
