Those photos show the distinct line on that wall. I'd like to see it at a 20ft distance. looks promising.

Me too but I'm usually a couple cocktails in by the time it gets dark so the cars stay in the coop.

My wife's car model is notorious for bad lights so on the rare occasion we drive at night it's nice to have some light.

No doubt there are better LEDs out there but this $30 brand is far better than what we had. Liked them enough to outfit the Ram even though the stockers weren't all that bad.

With my experience with H4 LEd replacements, I am suspect of the automotive line as well.

Anyone running the cheaper LED's from amazon? Noticed a couple brands Fahren, Lasfit, and Infitary claim to be canbus compatible. Anyone have experience with these brands?

Running the JDM Astar all the way around in my 2011. Absolutely love them, can't rave enough. No issues. Got them on eBay for around$30 a set. Turn, backup, high, low, fog even interior lighting....everything swapped out for led. Even went with the "switchback" for turns. Super awesome.

Y’all better think twice before changing your stock halogen bulbs for the Chinese LEDs in your projection stock headlight housings !!! You might think that you can see better but the truth is that you are BLINDING THE HELL OUT OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC and if you get hit head on by the blinded driver especially on a TWO LANE HIGHWAY, then REST IN PEACE !!!

I run Lasfit in my 3rd brake light and no canbus error. I wouldn’t run cheap leds in the headlights though. Also not sure since I used alfaobd to remove all light out errors anyways

I replaced my factory tail lights led's, not sure of brand but I have LAMP OUT coming on constantly to the point of insanity. What can I do? I also want to know what alfaobd is, & would that help my issue.

I got mine for my ‘19 2500 Tradesman from Headlight Revolution. They’ve been great - no flickering or issues at all. Thanks’ve since put them in my ‘92 Bronco as well. What a difference! I didn’t change out the high beams in my Ram, as they weren’t poorly rated like the low beams. With the new LEDs I rarely need the high beams anyway.

Wont be making the big Alpharex purchase until next month but figured Id experiment. Amazon had a coupon on Cougars so got a set I'll be testing in my wife's quads this weekend when they get here. Fingers crossed. If not I'll send them back and try the Novsights. Hopefully I'll have a good idea of what works before I upgrade my truck haha.

Ill find out if I have to try it. I've only had to return a couple items but never had an issue with Amazon yet.

Agreed. Most people miss the step to adjust your beam on your housing to point them down. I haven't done my truck yet, but my Charger required pointing them down after the upgrade to avoid blinding people.

You could take the opportunity to upgrade to projector housings. Then you would have a tight focused beam with cutoffs that prevent blinding. If you go this route, but the projectors first because the bulb size may differ.

I do plan to get Alpharex G2s. Just trying to figure out what works. Put the Cougars into my wifes 2016 with reflectors so far. Tons more light output. Question I have is for those who have gotten errors. How long before an error shows up? Drove it around a little. Let it sit until dark. Drove a little more. So far no errors. Pointed both beams down a tad. Lights stay on no sign of flickering. Just dont know how soon they should fail if at all.

So far it's been a couple days since the install. Wife has had a chance to go to work and back without issues. Gonna keep monitoring but so far its looking like these Cougars should be free of errors.

Id say pretty good for reflectors. Dramatic improvement over the Silverstar halogens. Should be even better in projectors I'm hoping.

I use the Auxitos for 194 and 912/921 replacements; for the 3157/3157Ks I use the Auxlight lamps.

Haven’t had any problems. Just installed them and tell the BCM you have LEDs for those positions in AlfaOBD...

I didn't want to mess with Alpha or extra wires. These Cougars are straight plug and play and fit under the dust cap with plenty of room. So far they seem legit no issues at all. Definitely plan to pick up a set for my truck when I order the Alpharex headlights next month.

Up before the sun today so I pulled the wife's car out and spun it around. Here is 20 feet from the door. The right side cutoff line is 32 inches. Again, these are the $30 Novsight leds in projectors.
