On my 01 Chev Duramax I had to spread out the clips somewhat to get them to hold the edges and tighten them up good.

I went to use mine today and they had loosened up over time.
Circle check truck daily. Glad you checked load tie down points before using them. First thing law makers ask if you drop a load and someone is......

Thanks for the heads up, I just checked mine and a couple were loose. I had a different kind on my old Ford and they were on there 18 years and never came loose.

The rings in the bottom area of the bed right? Mine are slightly bent, can they be tightened from below?

OK that makes more sense. But pretty sure the other ones are welded in. Yeah I cut one of mine that wasn’t quite installed correctly and fixed it.
