Anybody have experience with this company? They're claiming up to 60 more horsepower with their plug and play performance "chip", a claim that I don't believe for a second. But does this product actually add any hp at all...

Yeah I don't believe that either. That's like pulsar trying to claim 60 hp. Hell I think even a custom tune doesn't add that much. Maybe a custom tune with long tubes from what I've seen and heard.

Only a supercharger, turbocharger, nitrous, it major internal engine will add that much HP at 1 time. Don’t believe the hype!!

That's what I'm thinking too. Basically a scam. You'd either have to get another engine with more cubes or put a sh*t ton of money into mods and labor to get that much hp. But I'm wondering if any amount of hp at all can be gained with this.

All these "chips" do is send a different voltage to a few different sensors. Such as AIT sensors. And O2 sensors.

Manipulating the voltage in these sensors, AIT for example. Makes the ECU think the Air Intake Temps are lower than they actually are. So the ECU will advance timing. Tricking the O2 sensor will trick the ECU into adding more fuel.

More fuel and more timing equals more power.. only bad part is. You might now ACTUALLY have the best air temps. Or fuel ratio for the added timing.

Which is when you create a new inspection window in your block to check out the rods....

I bought a Pulsar in May, 2019. Worked fine for 5 months. I tuned it back to stock for winter use. Tuned back to performance May, 2020 and nothing but problems; Bluetooth problems, Nav problems, compass problems, check engine light on, check electric throttle control light on. At dealership twice with no help. Out it comes.
