Over the last 60 yrs or so I’ve owned 18 Chevy trucks

And I now own my first Mopar product. 2025 Ram Laramie 3.0l. My last truck was 2023 Ford Lightning, good truck as an inexpensive truck to operate and would do most things well, but long distance towing was was dismal. The truck has a great tow rating, but try to tow an 8000# Travel Trailer, and out of the 310mi distance rating you would be lucky to get 100mi. Add a strong headwind and you could cut that in half. Just not an acceptable tow vehicle. So when I started to look for a new truck I immediately eliminated anything GM, too many of their V8 motors blowing up and leaving people stranded. Ford was a candidate with their twin turbo V6’ but with them being this years recall champion that was iffy, and then I saw YouTube video on the Ram 1500 with the 3.0l ‘Inline 6 cylinder motor and was sold on HP and torque ratings. I also liked that it wasn’t a brand new untested motor and that it had been around for awhile in the Jeep line. I’ve never had a truck beyond second level trim, (ford xlt ) so this Laramie has an amazing interior. So far I’m really liking this Mopar product. I asked GROK to pick the best Forum for my truck and this was top rated by the world’s smartest Ai computer. So y’all can take a bow. Looking forward to a good and informative time here…
