Chrome Wheels

If anybody is running aftermarket chrome wheels please post some pictures. Wanting to mix it up a little on the truck and looking for some ideas!!

Well I would show you an actual picture but the shop messed up and ordered black wheels instead of the machined finish I ordered. So I'll have these sometime in the next week or so.

You probably already know about pvd chrome but if not you should check it out. Supposedly easier to maintain than actual chrome, lighter, and they have a 3 year warranty against pitting/peeling and can be refinished if they ever do.

i'm leaning towards some fuels right now even though they probably won't last but a few years cause I use the truck off road a lot. The dream would to throw some American Forces on there.

They are beautiful, but if you actually use your truck offroad I'd stick with something less expensive and lighter. I'm all about spending money to improve performance but I have a hard time with pure aesthetics.

thats exactly why i won't get them yet! Just trying to find something that isn't made so cheap it starts pitting within a year

Not really a fan of chrome but I must say that Moto Metal and KMC have some nice looking chrome wheels.

Moto metal .. Scares me. Coworker had one crack on him. That's all it took for me to stay away.

Chrome looks better, pvd last longer, black = lighter/no cleaning

I wish it was! It's actually a friends parents place. We were hanging out there in the summer and when I walked out to the truck I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take that picture.

i've been to 5 different tire shops trying to find a reasonably priced chrome 17" rim.still no luck.i found a really nice set of graphite rims,but they don't make 'em in a 17''.i'm beginning to think i'll have all my other mods done before i find the right ones.i'd order them online but the shipping/canadian exchange will kill me.i also refuse to put black rims on my arctic camo truck.
