Both sides of my truck are making a rattling noise. Sounds like my coil spring is bouncing around in there. But it isn't, everything is tight under there. I've pulled, pushed, twisted.. Everything I can think off and nothing rattles around. The noise stops whenever I ride my brakes though. So would it be my brake calipers need changin out for new ones or what?

Check your sway bar end links. They have a ball joint on them and they are known to go bad. Mine went bad twice already. Both times making a clanking noise over even the tiniest of bumps.

Ok how do you check those? Lift the front end off the ground and get a long bar of metal and try and pry on it? See if it moves or somethin?

I had to loosen mine from the sway bar because it was putting a bind on them and could not tell. Taking the nut off of the top on both side got the sway bar out of the way. I could wiggle the end links and could tell the ball joint was bad. They had so much slack. The drivers side was almost coming out of the socket. I bought some cheap ones off eBay and haven't had a problem since.

Its the brake pads clips or hardware. What ever it called. They are between the pad and the brake bracket, not the caliper. My truck was making the same noises, change them with the pads and its gone.
