Classic body or not?

I have a 2022 big horn 2500 on order. I'm wanting to put an "undercover" hard bed cover on it. Several sites keep asking if it's a classic body of not. Wouldn't the year let them know that? Is a brand new 2500 still considered a classic body?

That's a question normally asked about the 1500's, not HD's. There's only one HD body. Are you sure you're specifying it's for a 2500?

The Ram body builder still refers to the HD trucks as a DS body truck which is the same as a Classic.

Yes. Definitely specing for a 2500.

Yes, it is a 4th gen body with an updated front end, tailgate and interior.

When Iordered my Undercover ArmorFlex last year it asked me the same thing. I watched a Youtube video that showed to know the difference between the two truck beds, it was the inside pattern on the tailgate, and the bed wall behind the seats. Based on that, I checked off classic for my 2500 Tradesman 5th gen

It's commonly referred to as a 4.5 gen - 4th gen body with 5th gen tech.
