Cleaning Exhaust Tips

Just wanted to know what you guys clean your exhaust tips with? Got some road debris on them and want to get them nice and shiny before I sell them...

I have used Eagle One metal cleaner, comes in a silver tin, almost like cotton wads with cleaner in bedded. Works like a charm.

This has worked for me, but I don’t endorse this as safe practice. Oven cleaner and regular sponge on warm pipes. Rinse with clean water on a towel. Then polish with any polish you choose. I use mothers.

I use TAR first to get all the road junk off then follow up with Metal Polish 1 & 2.

Use a solvent to remove any tar or road debris. Then any good metal polish I perfer Wenol for use by hand.

I used a wire wheel attachment onmy 1/4 impact to clean and shine my tips before I painted them. Also tried it on a piece of stock exhaust and it made it shiny
