I have a mysterious clicking noise coming from the driver side when turning left. Naturally thought it was the wheel bearing so I changed it. Still doing it. U joint is tight and no rust signs of failure. Any ideas?

We certainly understand why this would be concerning. If you are not able to determine a solution based on suggestions from fellow forum members and you decide to address this with your Ram dealer, please be sure to follow up with us via private message. We would be more than willing to escalate your situation to a specialist who can work alongside you and your dealer while your truck is in service.

Same exact thing happened to me at like 20,000 miles. Dealer changed the wheel bearings and it didnt fix it. Ended up being an upper ball joint..... no joke

Let the dealer have it while I was gone and they are saying that it's in the transfer case?

To me that makes no sense.

Me either. It doesn't make the noise when in 4H so I'm hot sure what else it could be. Something in the front axle? Can't really afford to take a gamble with $3k for a new t case.
