I have a 2010 ram 5.7l. When slowing g down and when eco mode comes on I'm hearing a clicking sound coming from engine or trans. I cannot find a reason for this neither can the dealership. I have a 2 year warrenty and want to resolve issue before it runs out. Any ideas

Do you hear it at idle? Does the clicking speed up or slow down with the engine or vehicle speed? Does it ever really go away?

When your slowing to a stop or let your foot off the gas When truck goes into eco mode there's a loud clicking. If I put the truck into neutral the noise goes away also when I put the truck into tow/haul the noise goes away

MDS You can see they only lift when in eco mode, and when in th the MDS is off on a 2010. Anyhow, I have a 2010 and have been driving in TH 24/7 since 2011, running in TH only benefits you unless you are on a long trip freeway. See the one minute and 5 mark on video, when your MDS is lifting my guess would be it's stuck. But if you have a 2 year warranty, maybe you will have to try a couple dealers. Some dealers just don't give a ****.

These transmisions do have some low rpm issues, but I suspect the MDS. No shaking characteristics with the ride itself? The fact it shows up with eco light suggests MDS, nothing happens in the transmsion that is different with that light. They have a wheel spin thing at the dealer? If not a dyno shop would be good, that way you can have hood up and see and hear what happens when it goes into MDS mode. Also, to verify it is mds use manual shifter and drive around in 4th gear and try and duplicate it, I bet you can't as MDS shuts off in manual.
