instead of me spaming the mess out of other threads with my pictures and minor progress,I decided to start my own build thread, Chuck gave me the idea so props to him. Manufactured on june 1994 with the 5.2 magnum, the color is flame red clear coat, now it's just flame red half clear coat. I do minor work to it and put some TLC into it. it bears the same name as my user. I hope to keep track of what I want to do/ what I've done.

Looking much better Cody:) Don't be scared to use a degreaser and wash that whole engine bay and the motor down.

Sunlight dish soap or any dish soap and water will go a long way in helping you. Use the garden hose to rinse if you like you won't hurt it as long as you keep the air cleaner on.

when i wash my motor down i put something over my air filter, a plastic bag or something like that just to be safe and then wrap a rubber band around the top to secure it. water is the last thing you want anywhere near the interior of your motor

Alright I'll bide my time washing it today with a toothbrush and a rag and finish up the job.

I'm not sure how to follow a thread, but saved this to my favorites bar.

I have lost count how many sunk motors I have dealt with 1000's getting water in is no big deal as long as you get it out the right way. Distilled water can be used to decarbonise a engine but you must be a little more careful than say using weasel **** (seafoam).
