My 4th Gen Bighorn seats are comfortable
The drivers has power tilt, power slide, power lift & Lumbar support, i just wish it would raise a little higher, i have to press different buttons all day if i drive from San Diego to El Paso in 10 or 11 hours.

The passenger side has manual slide & the power converter is just under the seat cushion on the seat frame

I've read more about Seats in the last two days my head is spinning a little. I asked another guy at work with a fourth gen ram and he likes his seats but he has power, so If I'm correct power seats have the lumbar support. I have looked into aftermarket lumbar add on about $100 a seat. They use a bladder like in the 87 gt mustang seats I have in my 69. Those are some of the most comfortable seats I have. With the 13 or 14 and up they have the airbags on the 1500 so aftermarket not an option. I've read were Gen 3 people are putting in gen 4 seats much better than worn gen 3 seats. I also saw a guy put gen 5 seats in a gen four have to repin and cut and weld the gen 4 mounts on passenger. I swore I was not going to mod this truck just drive it lol. So I'm not going gen 5 even if they are more comfortable. The hot ticket seems to be the sport seats or maybe Laramie.

Anybody know are Laramie a different shape? you can buy leather covers for less than 200 a set.

Wish Carlisle wasn't so packed I may have checked out the seat guy but he seems to have mostly GM stuff. I might have to go salvage auction with my friend maybe buy a whole truck for what Ebay sellers want for seats.

5th gen 2500 and 3500 seats would bolt in, but the wiring would probably be a pain

The 4th gen sport seats I installed in my ‘06 are power drivers side WITH power lumbar as well, while the passenger side is manual with no lumbar

Not sure if you want both sides power and lumbar or just the drivers side, but I have to say the lumbar support is nice

Checked at work today the guy that I asked about his seats and he liked them he has a bighorn. Interesting that his seats look a lot like mine just a different fabric in the center.

I wonder if in NY yards can't sell the seats because of the used air bag deal? I've seen bare power frames for sale.

Google search NY salvage yards and make a couple calls. I'd be surprised if they didn't sell seats. They may have to remove the airbags in the seats but they could certainly still sell them.

Seats probably sell quickly so you probably have to work with a yard so they'll contact you if anything comes in.

Anybody have any feed-back on BRAUM racing seats? I'm looking at these and they get pretty good reviews too.

48prerunner, I'd be looking at Recro seats of I was going to be replacing my seat. Had to be cheaper than buying a new truck.
