Yes, it will work with your truck. The only thing this heater bezel is dual zone and your truck is single zone so you'll have the two buttons that don't work. If that doesn't bother you then your all good.

Remember if he wants to do the full 8.4 conversion with the 8.4 bezel he will need a different conversion harness plus the factory harness and resistor to convert his truck to the 7 speed fan. The 2500 and 3500 trucks have 4 the speed fan.

The radio will work plug and play for any 13 up Ram. The 8.4 bezel will also work but you need more components to make it work. The 8.4 climate control is for a 7 speed fan your truck has 4 speeds. The 1500 trucks have 7 speed fans so they are easier to do. The RA1 and RA2 equipped 2500 and 3500 trucks have a 4 speed fan. The RA3 and RA4 equipped trucks have a 7 speed fan. Your truck originally came with the RA2 so you have a 4 speed fan. In order for you to use the bezel you will.need a different conversion harness plus a factory harness and the resistor to convert your truck to a 7 speed fan. There are threads on how to do this conversion. I suggest you go through the thread thoroughly to understand the conversion.you can buy the 4 speed fan conversion harness from the Harness Connection who is a vendor on the forum and order the factory harness plus the resistor from Allmoparparts.com who is also a vendor on the forum. The 4 to 7 speed conversion is not a plug and play like the 7 speed to 7 speed conversion.

Oh wow. Just found the conversion threads for these fans. That may be a bit more than I want to bit off. LOL never done that much wiring before but it does look doable.

That's why I asked if it would work directly. That is a big project.
