The front door and dash speakers are on the same output wire from the radio, per side. Each speaker is 4 ohms. I'm not sure how they are wired to maintain 4 ohms (assuming the factory radio puts out 4 ohms).

Question.. Would putting component speakers in the front doors affect the radio output requirements?

I changed the speakers already with 3.5s in the dash and 6.5 coaxials in all 4 doors, a 10" sub in the back, all ran by a 5 channel amp. I'm hoping components in the front doors will sound a bit crisper, if it can be done.

What year vehicle? The 2018 alpine system speakers are 2.5 ohm.

Also, since the dash speakers are your tweeters, why components instead of 3 way 6x9 in the doors like you already have?

Here is my setup.

Alpine pxe850s dsp (12 channel amp 25 watts @ 4 ohm RMS). This is a signal processor and amp in one. It has a 31 band equalizer.

Kicker kx speakers in dash and doors. 3 way 6x9’s in doors with metra 1:2” spacer for front doors. Crossfire C5 800.4 amp putting 100 watts @ 4 ohms RMS To doors

Crossfire C5 1000 watt amp pushing 2 crossfire c3 12” dvc subs. 4 ohms wired in parallel to bring it to a 1 ohm load.

Fox acoustics box.

The base sound system front speakers are wired in parallel with each other but the "mystery" of how they maintain the ohm load is a crossover capacitor built into the dash "speaker". That makes the dash a tweeter, if I remember correctly it's a 1.2uF capacitor.
