Hey there I recently purchased a 2014 ram sport. Love the truck but after 600kms I've had condensation in the headlights only in the turn signal portion on both sides for the past week. I've spoken with the dealership and they said this is completely normal. It never creeps into the headlam area. There aren't any water droplets forming yet

I've read several threads about the vents being pushed too far down on the back of the headlights. What I'm wondering is if I can access those vents by removing my rear tire and the wheel well cover and reaching inside. I'd like some input before I get started in -20 weather, or is the only way to get to them is by removing the housing all together.

Or do I tell my dealer to just replace the damn lights!?

This happens to a lot of Rams. What you'll need to do is take the grill off, undo the 2 bolts holding the headlamp in, then reach into the little flap in the wheel well and either push the white tab up, or pull it down. I can't remember which it is, that unlocks the headlamp though. Then you'll see the little orange tabs. Just pull them off and then set them back on lightly

Push up on the white tab to release, pull down to lock.

So I'm not able to just take off the inner wheel well splash guard and work on the vents without taking it fully out

It'll be easier to take the headlight out than the wheel well splash guard, believe it or not. Sounds tough, but only takes a few minutes to get them out.
1. Pop the push pins on the radiator cover to get it out of the way.
2. Remove 4 10mm bolts across the top of the radiator. Yank the grill out with a firm tug.
3. Remove 2 10mm bolts holding headlight assy in.
4. Reach into wheel well (easier if you have wheel turned) and open flap by pulling push pin and reach around until you feel a plastic tab to slide up.
5. Grab headlight assy and give a firm tug to remove.

Whole job takes about 15 minutes.

My problem is right now it's -23 Celsius right now and I really don't want to risk breaking any clips on the grill or anything. That being said it only has 600kms on the truck, I should probably just let the dealer do it and if they scratch or break anything they can replace it.

First time dodge owner and it hasn't been that smooth of an experience this far

With only 600 kms what else has gone wrong that your firth ram experience hasn't gone smoothly?

You won't break the clips, it's really nbd to pull the light out, and super easy once you do it once!

I had this happen with aftermarket headlights and they did this. I had to take them out, let them dry out and then silicone the seams.

I am really pissed that its happening to my Ram too and thought does this happen to Audi or Porsche or Cadillac or GMC or... So I looked online and YES IT DOES. I felt a little better. Just a little. I'm gunna have my dealer take care of the droplets in the passenger side light.

I have condensation in my mirror lights. It's only on the right side, what should I do to fix it?

Can you post a picture to show what "Mirror Light" you are referring too?

There are interior visor mirrors, center windshield rear view mirror
and external side view mirrors with puddle lamp LED's (in some models).

I'm hoping he means the puddle lights, not the inside lights.
