Hi All,
Just put a new compressor & accumulator on my truck. I vacuumed the system and charged it. I noticed condenser fan was not working. According to the manual I have to break the Freon lines to change the condenser fan. Does any know if you can get the fan & shroud out without taking the Condenser unit out?

I was able to take the condenser fan shroud assembly out without breaking the Freon lines. I had to notch the shroud assembly with a hacksaw blade where the top Freon line passes trough. I also removed the bottom support bracket and the bar across the front (the part that the hood latch is on) to give me a little more room to get the condenser out of the way. But the new fan motor in and reassembled. It is working great.
