Im all ears bud, or eyes in this case, lol
OK Shawn,
There's a local paint outfit that will put together all the components for the exact manufacturer's paint code and put into an aerosol can for $21.50. I live in Spokane, Wa, but I know they are out there just about everywhere.
I took off the grille, masked off the centerpiece, and used scotchbrite to "rough it up". Just to give the paint something to grab.
Did two quick coats using plain 'ole Rustoleum dark red. No need to use the good stuff early on. Then, 4 coats of the " mixed stuff". 3 lite, then one lingering ever so slightly longer for that "wet when dry" look. 20 to 30 mins apart on each coat. The next morning, I used Duplicolor clear coat. 3 coats 20 mins apart. 2 hours later, scotchbrite everywhere I want it "gloss/clear coat" in appearance in the end. I intentionally left the horizontal sections so to make the front facing surfaces even better, in contrast.
Lastly, two coats of the clear coat , lingering, but always moving, to give that deeper clear coat look.
Cost: $21.50 for coded paint in rattle can
$5.99 for Duplicolor clear coat (O'Reillys in my case)

I was in the Navy for many years, then high tech after that. I now drive a school bus for my "retirement job". Meaning, I have no prior real experience in this, and I was able to pull it off. A bit of time and effort, but can't beat the price for the results.
Ps- just flasher the ram emblem with Rustoleum flat black and dark red, kinda sporadically for that combos of color look.
