Console swap

Hey guys so I decided to swap my top console piece from the '15 with the '16 console with the cellphone holder. This picture was a test fit I used from a '16 that was traded in and it fit perfect. I had my parts guy order the mats, console piece, and instead of the 12v plug it showed an option on the parts diagram we had for a 12v or USB plug and I had him order the USB.
All together shipped cost me $230 which I am perfectly happy with because now I won't keep destroying phone cables. After talking with another buddy of mine on Instagram, I am going to see if I can find a Limited one and see how closely it would match my interior and if it looks good I will order it and return this one mainly because I like the little door you can slide to close off everything lol. Anyways, just figured I would show this, maybe others have done it but I'm glad I decided to!.

Yeah that's what I think I am going to go for. It's just a slide but I really like it after seeing the longhorns we have.

I love it also and would love to add one to the console i just purchased but that piece alone is the price of a whole console which is a little ridiculous

Just got mine today. Installed it and it works quite well. Bought it gently used here in the for sale section. Very nice.

Just for that piece it comes close to the price for the whole thing? That's nuts. I'm gonna get the parts guy to check tomorrow how much the whole limited piece would be for me with discount.

Jason seriously though, I painted both mine black instead of waiting on the black limited (I have zero patiences), I also always have my phone in the holder so not sure I would ever have the top closed (Yours is beautiful as I saw it), do you close yours a lot and thoughts?

I always have mine in the holder as well. I close it each time I leave the truck, I really like how it looks. Thanks for the deal. A brand new one would have cost me twice as much.
