They already have your money. You've ceased to exist until you need a new truck again, and what better way to entice you than to let your truck's warranty run out...
I know but it’s worth the shot, in my email I said that it might boost the sales of 2025s they have sitting on their lots. It would possibly make good business sense.

Even if they did, they wouldn't retroactively apply it to sold units.

Warranties create an unfunded liability and they'll need to make their money on the front end. They'll bake it into the wholesale pricing of the 2026 MYs.

I remember when Chevy did a 100K warranty on their engines. About 75K miles they would start to rattle and at 100,001 miles they decided it was the cam shaft lobes had worn down, not covered by warranty. I had a few friends that had this issue, and the dealers kept telling them it is normal for it to rattle like that, see these other ones are doing it also. When it was out of warranty they determined the rattling was caused by the cam being worn down. Neither one got there engines replaced under warranty, neither one will every own a Chevy again.

This 10/100 warranty is just a sales ploy. It is only good till 9/02/2025 and you have to take retail delivery by then. Sold units (consumer ordered trucks) will get it also until 9/02/2025. It is to get a bunch of guarantied sales at the start of the model year ($$$$$).

I was ready to say I don't think that's true...then I read the fine print on their webpage and you're right. "Offer ends 09/02/25" is caveat #7.

That's worse than just never offering it to start with. Another fumble by RAM.

Perhaps they will extend it at some point. But yeah, right now it is all about creating a surge of early orders. The announcement generated a lot of discussion, both good and bad. The fact that is is a limited time offer is very poor optics and doesn't help the brand image at all. If they are smart (and have confidence in the brand) they will work something out for the people who supported the brand in 2025 by buying their new version of Ram, and by making the 10/100K warranty a full time deal.

It’s not what you’re thinking. Since it’s a promotion for the original buyer only, and can’t be put on the window sticker, it has to have an expiration date just like discount programs, so it will just keep getting refreshed expiration dates throughout the 2026 model year.

Or you could just spent a few bucks and buy it from them. There are a few dealers on here that sell warranties much cheaper than local dealer. I brought an offer into my dealer and he laughed and claimed it was below his cost ??? He was just to lazy to do paperwork to make a few quick bucks

Email Stellantis CEO about giving those of us that took the risk on the 2025 new model year and engine the same warranty as purchasers of 2026 rams.
[email protected].
Sure and while your at it tell them I want it for my 2024 that I purchased almost 2 years ago and only have 5000 kilometers on it.
I only purchased it because of the upcoming Canadian EV mandates starting 2026.
