I've been thinking about getting a turner but with 72k on my 2011 don't know if it's worth it ??? I have the Vararam from Moe's and I'm running 275/65/20's low end kinda suffers , I believe I have 3:55 out back so that doesn't help either... Any suggestions , I was also toying with an Exhuast but with all the droning issues I'd rather not be bothered I do mostly hwy trailering so bottom end performance for trailering and MPG are my biggest concerns . What's your opinion ???

Our shop truck was bought used with over 70K miles. We have installed every bolt on part you can buy, ported heads, a bigger cam, and nitrous, and the motor is still going strong at 80,000 miles on the odometer.

These motors are very strong and reliable, so tuning now at over 70k miles is not an issue.

I know this threads about turners but any exhaust mods that won't annoy me ... But will improve MPG and bottom end torque , not too loud , I'm old now and loud useless noise annoys me , lol
Thanks Matt for quick response , when I come into some loot I'll be picking up a Diablo

A muffler swap alone is really just going to be an upgrade in sound...I doubt you will see any noticeable gains in power or mileage unless you also go with longtube headers. My advice would be to keep the stock muffler and just go with the ARH 1 3/4" longtubes with cats. This will give you a nice bump in mid range power without the unwanted noise in the cab.

Haha. I run them on my own truck. Hands down the best fitting and best performing header I have ever installed. Install takes about 3-4 hours, 5 hours with breaks.

In NJ headers are fine just get a cat-Ed y. Not having cats is when they get pissy. I had headers and a catless y on my last SUV, just had to take to a private shop inspection that pass it.

Do you have custom tuning, or are you running a basic canned tune?

I did 10% with the caned tune and my truck liked it. But now I have a custom tune and it's all included. I don't need to mess with any of the settings, just upload and enjoy. I did ask my tuner what % throttle boost he was putting in my tune and he said it was layered and different for every gear.
Go with a custom tune, you will love it.

Hemi450HP.. Ok I read all 24 pages. I am considering the i2 as I'm not interested in time logging. Just want to clarify a few things...

1. Once the installation is complete and Hemifever tune is up and running. If I plan to go to a dealer and 'expecting' a PCM update, can I just remove my Diablo PCM and reinstall my stock PCM and it would look like nothing was ever touched before I go? What would be the process for reinstalling the Hemifever tune WITH the new update from the dealer? Same as the original process?

2. Does the tuner need to be plugged into the OBDII port at all times, or just to flash?

3. Earlier I read the tuner can come with two tunes, one for 87 and one for 91. Is the end user able to switch back and forth between the two without involvement from anyone else?

Thanks for all your help...

So here is an odd question, do these tuners have the ability to keep my fogs on with my high beams? I know in my 07 I was able to have it done and some of the tuners on the market could do it, but not sure if it can be done on my 2014. Might be the last feature needed to finally pull the trigger on one of these units.

As from what I know the Diablo i2 does not have the option for fogs on with high beams. When I bought my "14 I had a Bully Dog Tuner I used on my 09. I couldn't use the tunes on my "14 but all the other features I could. So I turned on the fogs and turned of the seatbelt chime. I then sold the Bully Dog to help get the Diablo i2. If you know some one with a Bully Dog you can use theirs. It won marry to your truck.

Question. How often do the tunes get updated? If I got a tune in August will there be updates down the road even if my mods are unchanged ? Wondering if the tunes get updated regularly or if they stay the same
