Lift the cap on the reservoir & look down into it
I think that you may find a dip stick in there

On Youtube, i noticed people use a Permanent Marker to draw a line to use as a reference

That might work. For the life of me I can not see the fluid on the dipstick. I will try your recommendation. Thanks for your reply.

I have not looked up any Rams since 2018
so you may need to open your Owners Manual
or the Owners Manual should also be online

Go to Home Depot and purchase a 2foot piece of 1/4in to 1/2in wood dowel and use that POS plastic stick to mark with a permanent marker the high and low level, low level when the engine is cold and high level when the engine is hot, and use that to put into the tank when checking you will see the wet line on it,Dont leave it in the tank, wipe it off till next time, I check mine once a week and I use the concentrated OAT antifreeze.

I take the dipstick out and wipe it clean (dry) before measuring.

I put the dipstick back in, pull it out, then hold it in the light to see the relfection off the fluid to "mark" the level.

@brian42 I do the same. @dieseldave if the ambient light isn't enough to see where the "shiny" wet part and "dull" dry part meet, hit it with a high-lumen flashlight, and it usually helps it show up better. I've always got one in my pocket so that's what I use.

noticed my ram has a black reservoir, seems like a very dumb design. Why not clear with fill marks on it like a normal vehicle! If ever at a dealer for service I hope no dumb *** mistakes that for the windshield washer reservoir as well that looks the same.
