Hey guys I have a 16 ram 1500 5.7 4x4. Radiator is original mopar 175k on it somehow. I see coolant residue on the driver side tank seam. I have a gallon of the 68163849AB mopar pink coolant as well as in my truck now. I called the dealer and they said they have a newer version which ends in ac and it appears not to be pink. I ordered from Amazon showing 849ab and they also sent me ac so I sent it back. Whats up with it this ? I know that mixing oat and hoat is not a good outcome. I’m replacing the rad so 3 gallons should be plenty I believe. Anyone know about this and if it’s ok to mix?

68163849AB (50/50) and
68163848AB (concentrated) are
Mopar OAT 10-year/150k mile

Should both be purple, IMO

After the coolant is heated, it turns reddish.

Drained from my '15 SLT Hemi:

New 68163848AB mixed w/distilled water going in:

FWIW, my 2015 SLT cracked the rad, drivers side @ 193k miles.

Also looks like the AC suffix has replaced the AB suffix. No clue the color. Made in China, I think.
