2014 1500 with 5.7 184,000 kilometers, coolant temp takes a little longer to warm up during these colder months (outside temp 0 Celsius). Bought the truck with 133k and have not done any maintenance revolving around coolant system other than the clutch on fan which was replaced. Temp has not reached anything over 92 Celsius (197 f), and typically floats around 88-89 (190-192), still get heat in the cab and start to feel it once truck warms up. Just curious if my tstat is starting to go or if this could be something else. Truck has active grill shutters also.

Thanks

my 2014 runs around 198-201 so your temps appear to be normal however if you are second guessing things a tstat is very easy to change on these also check your water pump pulley for play/movement if you have never changed it may also be a good time to flush your heater core out.

Since removing the grill shutters my temp is stable between 198-204 deg with a factory 203 deg t stat.
